How to get to Maungatua Pakiri    506 Rahuikiri Rd, Pakiri

Route A.

From Auckland, turn Right @ Warkworth, left at Matakana roundabout, up over big hill, down thru the valley to intersection, Turn Right, ten over the hill, veer left into Rahuikiri Rd at next intersection (a gravel road). We are 1.9kms from the Pakiri Beach Horse Riding place. Look on Left for a Titree gate and entrance fence and the number 506......(Shortest route)

Route B. Turn right @ Warkworth  go all the way to Leigh,  over hill (past Goat Island turn off), down into Pakiri Valley go straight Through the village, over small hill, just over a bridge, turn Right into Rahuikiri Rd. (then as above)

Route C.  Go to Wellsford, at top of hill heading north in the village, turn RIGHT where sign directs you to Pakiri Beach. Do not turn off, but follow all the way until tarseal stops. Veer left into Rahuikiri Rd and we are 5.06Kms from the beginning of the gravel Rd and on the left. Look out for Titree gate and the number 506

What is good to bring?

If you are coming to stay over, bring camping gear, warm clothes, gumboots if wet, torch and mozzie repellant...We have all the kitchen stuff and cooking utensils. Bring what you like to eat and we all eat together in a shared meal way...

we are assessing the use of an old freezr to keep food cool so if you bring a bag or 2 of ice that would be very helpful OR freeze up some 2 litre milk or soft drink bottles with water. These are great!  :) xx
